Blogger Book Swap Jan 2013

TheSimplicityofBeingCurious

Over the stressful weeks after the Holidays and before my birthday I thought I would sign up for a book swap. There were two going on but at the time I could only financially take on one.
I was paired up with Beth from Living A Goddess Life. She was the best partner ever. She was so nice when I thought I had run into so issues. Lucky, everything panned out and she got her book. I got mine.

Oh you want to know what book I got...

Starflower- When a cursed dragon-witch kidnaps the lovely Lady Gleamdren, Eanrin sets boldly forth on a rescue mission...and a race against his rival for Gleamdren's favor. Intent upon his quest, the last thing the immortal Faerie needs is to become mixed up with the troubles of an insignificant mortal.
But when he stumbles upon a maiden trapped in an enchanted sleep, he cannot leave her alone in the dangerous Wood Between. One waking kiss later, Eanrin suddenly finds his story entangled with that of young Starflower. A strange link exists between this mortal girl and the dragon-witch. Will Starflower prove the key to Lady Gleamdren's rescue? Or will the dark power from which she flees destroy both her and her rescuer?

The Last Apprentice: Attack of the Fiend- Thomas Ward is the apprentice for the local Spook, who banishes boggarts and drives away ghosts. But now a new danger is threatening Tom's world. The witches are rising and the three most powerful clans are uniting in order to conjure an unimaginable evil.
Tom and the Spook set out to stop the witches before they unleash the demon. But when Tom finds himself on his own, he wonders if he has the courage and cunning to defeat the most powerful enemy he has ever encountered.

I am really excited to read both of these books. As soon as I finish the Inkworld series, these will be next.
Thank you so much Beth!!

Notes: I loved this swap and hope that Kimberly will be doing it again soon. I really enjoyed being able to share my love for reading/books with others.
